3rd Annual "Class One" R/C Mini Shootout 2012 RULES
1. ALL gasoline powered sparkplug type motors WILL have a KILL SWITCH system. It will be tested and demonstrate at tech inspection that the motor will stop due to loss of radio communication or loss of power to your receiver or transmitter. NO EXCEPTIONS. Come prepared to run! (If you are unsure of what your boat has, there is plenty of expertise available to help you. E-mail me and I will hook you up with some help!)
2. Nitro Boats need to have provisions that if they lose communications they pull their throttle back to off or idle position.
3. Drivers will be able to hot lap a reasonable amount of time.
4. Once driver circles the commitment buoy the measured run has begun. Remember not to go out of bounds this run will count and you will be scored a DQ (disqualified). This is new this year and will be covered in the drivers meeting and you can see it on the course map. (FYI: the reasons for these changes are, safety for the radar operators and to make sure the drivers know that the run they are making is a measured run).
5. When filling out your registration form determine the class of each boat you are entering.
6. Radios: everyone was very radio consciences last year and we will again have ALL FIXED FREQUENCY radios kept at the radio table and will only be on one at a time. Please have all of your name and address on your equipment.
